Registered Yoga Therapist & Level 2 Yoga Teacher (Yoga Australia)

A mother, health professional, and Yoga Therapist, Meghana’s journey began with her own healing after childbirth. Living with a challenging health condition led her to Yoga—not as a teacher, but as a patient seeking relief. Through gentle, therapeutic practices, she experienced reduced pain, calmer moods, and a renewed sense of strength from within.

This transformation inspired her to specialise in Yoga Therapy and Stress Management, completing a Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s degree focused on the therapeutic use of yoga for health conditions and overall wellbeing.

At Yoga Parampara, we guide individuals on the authentic path of yoga as taught by the sages and rooted in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Unlike modern yoga classes that focus only on physical postures, we embrace the complete Aṣṭāṅga Yoga framework, the eight limbs of yoga, offering a holistic journey from the outer practices of body and breath to the inner transformation of mind and consciousness.

Our work is grounded in the wisdom of trusted texts and the living tradition of gurus. We integrate:
  • Yama & Niyama – cultivating ethical harmony and inner discipline
  • Āsana & Prāṇāyāma – stabilising the body and regulating energy through breath
  • Pratyāhāra, Dhāraṇā, Dhyāna, Samādhi – guiding awareness inward, fostering concentration, meditation, and ultimately absorption
